is a lightning rod of a coach

Vikings-Jets game preview Q&A
The up and down season of the Minnesota Vikings took another upswing this week with the acquisition of New England Patriot receiver . Huge enough of a sports story to eclipse Twins fever in Minnesota, the trade comes about a week shy of the Vikings' return from the bye for a Monday night tilt with the .
Moss is no stranger to the Jets or the team's celebrated corner ,Ryan Clady Jerseys, and therefore a conversation with is sure to feature some Moss talk. Check out his responses to my questions below and look for my answers to his in a subsequent post. As always, visit and let him know what you think about his analysis of this huge game for the Vikings on Monday night.
Joe Oberle: Many are calling the Jets the top team in the NFL. To what do you attribute that and what are the major concerns for the Vikings when they come to the Big Apple?
Tyson Rauch: I am not so sure I would say the Jets are the best team in the NFL, but Gang Green is playing very well right now. The Jets have won three division games in a row without their best pass rusher (Calvin Pace), their best run stopper (Kris Jenkins) and their best cover corner/defensive player (Darrelle Revis). The Jets are much improved on offense where quarterback Mark Sanchez has been very efficient, throwing 8 touchdowns with no interceptions through four games. As for what the Vikings should be worried about, the Jets are no longer a one dimensional team on offense.
JO: is a lightning rod of a coach, almost the polar opposite of the media-shy and clandestine Brad Childress. Does his larger-than-life profile fit New York or does his act only fit as long the team keeps winning?
TR: Either you love Rex Ryan or you don't, there is not much middle ground. Jets fans love Rex as he has changed the culture within organization and has given the team an identity. Ryan's brash style is not for everyone, which has led the Jets to becoming one of the most hated teams in the NFL. The one thing that is for certain, the players love Ryan, which will take him a long way in the NFL.
JO: In his second season, is Mark Sanchez showing improvements and what problems does he present for a tough Minnesota defense,Women's Denver Broncos Jerseys?
TR: The Jets have taken the handcuffs off of Sanchez and the young quarterback has thrived. Mark has a firm grasp of the offense and no longer forces throws or gets overwhelmed by the situation. Sanchez has done an excellent job spreading the ball around and will be even more effective now that Santonio Holmes has returned from suspension.
JO: Randy Moss has caught this town by storm. Is Darrelle Revis excited about a rematch, and how will the tough Jets defense attack Adrian Peterson?
TR: Darrelle Revis is still recovering from a hamstring injury so there is a chance Antonio Cromartie will be paired up with Moss. Cromartie did a solid job against Moss back in week two, shutting Randy down in the second half of the game. As for the Jets stopping Peterson, I am sure the Jets will run blitz in order to stop the run and force to beat them.
JO: These two teams went to their respective conference championship games last season and came up short. There should be a lot of excitement and fireworks in Jersey on Monday between Minnesota and New York (not to mention this weekend between the Twins and Yankees)--how do you see this one playing out?
TR: The stadium will be electric not only for the hyped Monday night match-up, but for the mere fact that the Jets have won three games in a row and the fans are fired up. As for the outcome of the game I think it all comes down to how much pressure the Jets can get on Favre. I think the Jets will let Peterson get his yards, but will force Favre to beat them, something I am not so sure he can do. If Favre gets into any type of rhythm, the Jets will have their hands full.
