Sources say two-game ban likely for Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh's stomp
star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is reportedly going to receive at least a two-game suspension for shoving Green Bay Packers Evan Dietrich-Smith's head into the ground and then stomping on him during their Thanksgiving Day game. Suh did not own up to his actions in post-game interviews as well,Chris Harris Jersey.
This is not confirmed yet, but is what league sources have told ESPN.
League officials currently believe that two games will be the very minimum that Suh will be suspended and some think that the league could also require the Lions' defender to attend anger management courses,Caleb Hanie Jersey.
Detroit is also expected to issue a maximum fine of $25,000 to Suh which is the highest fine allowed under the new CBA for a player being ejected. Should Suh be suspended,Elvis Dumervil Jersey, the Lions would have to pay a $50,000 fine because team members will have been fined more than $100,000 this season.
